About the role: The Walgreens Advertising Group (WAG) is seeking an Associate Campaign Manager to join our Client Success team. This role is essential in ensuring digital advertising campaigns are launched accurately, on time, and in compliance with Walgreens’ standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

This role bridges the gap between client expectations and campaign execution, supporting internal teams and external partners by managing timelines, creative assets, and legal/compliance requirements.

Key tasks:
  • Campaign Management: Drive the end-to-end campaign process, from client investment to media activation, collaborating closely with Sales, Media Planning, and Creative teams.
  • Creative Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert on creative specifications, ad formats (onsite and offsite), promotional offers, and brand requirements. Route and review assets to ensure readiness for deployment.
  • Legal & Compliance Review: Evaluate ad copy and disclaimers to ensure compliance with Walgreens’ promotional, legal, privacy, and clinical guidelines, especially in pharmaceutical contexts.
  • Timeline Leadership: Own and manage campaign timelines, ensuring all stakeholders (internal teams, clients, and third-party partners) are aligned and deliverables stay on track.
  • Client & Partner Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for campaign-related communication. Lead internal and external kickoff calls, respond to client and partner questions, and escalate issues to the right teams as needed.
  • Deployment Coordination: Ensure audience segments, measurement tags, and creative assets are delivered correctly and on time to activation platforms.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Performs and implements daily operational activities that impact basic/standard components / processes of the specified Digital & Marketing work function, and may include responsibilities in the area of digital Merchandising, Photo, eHealth, User Experience, Strategy, or Marketing, such as:
    • Creating analyses to study key area trends.
    • Running reports and performing analyses to ensure compliance with business strategy.
    • Assisting in development of new programs and enhancing current programs to meet performance objectives.
    • Running ad-hoc analyses to identify and recommend innovative options to drive business strategy.
    • Performing research to identify industry trends and best practices.
    • Evaluating key area trends and developing/implementing innovative programs/improvements
    • Analyzing performance against departmental objectives.
    • Participating in monitoring departmental strategies and objectives.
  • Identifies and determines likely reasons for problematic causes. Prepares accurate documentation and communication to effectively facilitate elimination of problems / roadblocks as they occur and create efficient fixes.
  • May participate in the development of budgets for the functional area of responsibility.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to accomplish activities. Interacts with internal and external peers and/or managers to exchange semi-complex information related to assigned activities.
  • Gathers and updates necessary information and communicates to appropriate parties.

The actual salary an employee can expect to receive, plus bonus pursuant to the terms of any bonus plan if applicable, will depend on experience, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law. Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree OR High school diploma / GED and at least 3 years of experience in Merchandising, Marketing, eCommerce, Strategy, Healthcare, Analytics, Finance, and/or Operations.
  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in digital marketing, campaign or project management, ad operations, or media planning
  • Familiarity with digital media channels (i.e. display, native, email, paid social, programmatic)
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deliverables and deadlines simultaneously
  • Understanding of creative routing processes and asset management
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical brands, clinical content, or within regulated industries (HIPAA, COPPA, etc.)
  • Familiarity with privacy and compliance standards related to digital media (e.g., consent requirements, data use policies)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach
  • Detail-oriented with a process-driven mindset and ability to troubleshoot blockers independently

Salary Range: $63100 - $101200 / Salaried
