Pharmacy Internships

Community Summer Pharmacy Internship

Our pharmacists are out from behind their counters consulting with patients and building long-term trust and relationships. This program delivers a tailored experience based on your current school year – ranging from topics like prescription medications to herbal products, and disease state information to pharmacy laws and ethics.

We know this critical position is challenging. That’s why we offer early training through our pharmacy technician training program. This program, which exists through partnerships with educational institutions, gives you first-hand experience of the pharmacy technician role.

The Walgreens Pharmacy Educational Assistance Program (PEAP) provides annual awards to Walgreens pharmacy interns enrolled in a professional pharmacy program. If the award is granted each year of pharmacy school enrollment, this could amount to $40,000 total.
