Please note that benefit offerings can vary by position, length of employment and team member level.

Health and Insurance

  • Medical Coverage: Choose from multiple providers and plan levels, including a virtual first medical plan, Copay plan options and a Health Savings Account (HSA) option.
  • Prescription Drug Coverage: The plan allows you to fill prescriptions at any Walgreens or Duane Reade affiliated pharmacy or through Walgreens Mail Service for mail orders. Walgreens offers a specialty pharmacy program designed for chronic, life-threatening or rare conditions. You may also have access to the $0 Rx Copay program for certain medications. Standard HSA rules apply to prescription drug costs for those participating in the HSA medical plan.
  • Dental Coverage: Choose from three plan levels ranging from a basic-only option to plans with orthodontia and other major service coverage.
  • Vision Coverage: Choose from two levels of benefits for vision coverage ranging from an exam-only discount option to an enhanced PPO with both in-network and out-of-network benefits.
  • Supplemental Benefits Coverage: Group Critical Illness, Group Hospital Indemnity and Group Accident coverage is available through MetLife.

Company-Paid Life Insurance

If you meet the Plan’s eligibility requirements, you are automatically enrolled in coverage for a life insurance benefit equal to:

  • 1.5 times annual base salary for all salaried team members and any eligible hourly team members.
  • $25,000 for all other hourly team members.

Note: If your employment is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, you may be eligible for a different company-paid Life or Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) benefit. Visit the Benefits Support Center to confirm your coverage amounts.

Voluntary Life & Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance

Benefit-eligible hourly and salaried team members also have the opportunity to buy up to a higher level of coverage through voluntary life insurance.

  • Company Match: You're generally eligible for company-matching contributions after one year plus 1,000 hours of service. After you become match-eligible, the company matches the first 4% of eligible pay you contribute to your account.
