• Directs the design and development of complex software that processes, stores and serves data foruse by others
• Directs the design and delivery of complex and large scale data structures and pipelines to organize,collect and standardize data to generate insights and addresses reporting needs
• Writes complex ETL (Extract / Transform / Load) processes, designs database systems and developstools for real-time and offline analytic processing
• Ensures that data pipelines are scalable, repeatable and secure. Improves data consistency andintegrity
• Directs the integration of data from a variety of sources, assuring that they adhere to data qualityand accessibility standards. Designs data infrastructure for scalability, availability, reliability
• Participates in developing technical / business approaches and new or enhanced technical tools.
• Recommends the right tool and technology to deliver solutions objectively. Evaluates newtechnologies for continuous improvement
• Interacts with internal and external peers and management to share highly complex informationrelated to areas of expertise and/or to gain acceptance of new or enhanced technology / businesssolutions

• BA/BS + at least 8 years experience in data engineering OR High School/GED+ at least 11 years experience in data engineering
• Deep knowledge of SQL
• At least 2 years of experience with REST API development
• Experience establishing and maintaining key relationships with internal (peers, business partnersand leadership) and external (business community, clients and vendors) within a matrixorganization to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and timelines.
• Experience interacting at the executive level
• Experience presenting to all levels of an organization, including the C-Suite level
• At least 5 years of experience contributing to financial decisions inthe workplace.
• At least 5 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/orcross-functional team leadership.
• Willing to travel up to/at least 10% of thetime for business purposes (within state and outof state).

• Experience deploying Python applications
• Experience with Azure application deployment
