Basic Qualifications

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and at least 5 years of post-bar attorney legal work experience in a combination of law firm and corporate settings.
Required licensure to practice law in at least one state.
Required Illinois bar membership or active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
At least 5 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
At least 5 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross functional team leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

8+ years of relevant experience at either at a top law firm or in-house.
Extensive knowledge of employment, health and safety regulations
Experience providing strategic, practical and actionable advice to business teams on employment, health and safety compliance
Experience advising on regulatory compliance and related issues.
JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.
Able to clearly organize and inform through excellent written and verbal communications.
Ability to lead, take action, and provide direction in the face of ambiguity.
Experience quickly issue-spotting, analyzing, and clearly communicating Employment and EH&S advice on complex legal issues.
Ability to get results in diverse, fast paced environments.
Strong analytical capability with attention to detail.
Ability to partner at all levels of an organization.
Strong individual contributor who thrives in a team environment.
