Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of experience working in Federal, State and/or Local Government Affairs OR a High School Diploma and at least 11 years of experience working in Federal, State and/or Local Government Affairs.
  • Experience executing a successful Government Affairs program with a high degree of political sophistication.
  • Experience working with the political process.
  • Experience dealing with funding agency issues.
  • Experience working in a political environment with a high degree of political sophistication, comprehensive understanding of the political process, and knowledge of the intricate relationships among elected officials and their constituents.
  • Experience cultivating/maintaining relationships with elected officials, federal funding agency leadership and their staffs.
  • At least 5 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
  • At least 5 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross- functional team leadership.
  • Willing to travel up to 35% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)


Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or MBA

Salary Range
$186500 - $320000 / Salaried
