The ideal candidate will bring strong user interface design expertise, fluency in cross-platform design systems and a human-centered mindset. They should be skilled in translating complex workflows into intuitive UIs and comfortable visualizing holistic experiences through tools like journey maps, service blueprints and user flows.
- Owns the designs for wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, site maps, interactions, high fidelity designs and prototypes for medium to large sized features or initiatives for your product area.
- Collaborates with your designated 4itB (four-in-the-box) partners, working to uphold design and user experience quality, consistency, and alignment across all initiatives and translate research insights into customer-driven experiences.
- Leverages our design system to ensure consistency in experiences across our ecosystem while learning to identify opportunities to diverge from the design system to create and/or evolve new guidelines and UI patterns that can be contributed back to the design system.
- Communicates design ideas and sells concepts to members of your 4itB pod and key stakeholders; Negotiates to arrive on a compromise that can meet both the customer and business need, if needed.
- Ensures design solutions are informed by the voice of the customer, partnering with your 4itB pod and the design lead for your product area to continuously identify opportunities where research can inspire, optimize or elevate the design.
- Considers existing insights, technical constraints, business needs, and platform-specific needs to produce data-informed solutions.
- Manages concurring design deliverables for multiple features, communicating frequently with your 4itB partners and the product design lead on your progress, dependencies, and challenges to ensure risk mitigation and on-time delivery.
- Informs and participates in user research activities to ensure the research is designed to yield insights which can inform the evolution of the design solution.
- Identifies and resolves high-level issues and opportunities to ensure the shipped experiences match the design deliverables.
- Advocates and promotes design thinking practices within your pod

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field and at least 3 years of experience designing for large-scale desktop, mobile web, and mobile app consumer experiences
- Proficiency using prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud)
- Experience designing with WCAG accessibility standards.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment as a member of a cross-functional team which includes product managers, product designers, researchers, service designer, developers, business leaders, and program managers.
- Experience working in and familiarity with Agile software development practices
- Experience designing for both web and mobile
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong online or PDF portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding and application ofdesign thinking methodologies to shepherd ideas from discovery through delivery and continued optimization. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leveraging design systems to achieve consistency and continuity in UI across platforms and form factors.
- Strong expertise in user interface (UI) design for large-scale web and mobile applications, with an eye for layout, hierarchy, and accessibility.
- Experience creating high-fidelity, developer-ready UI designs and prototypes using tools like Figma or Sketch.
- Familiarity with UX methodologies such as user flows, journey mapping, and service blueprinting to support end-to-end experience design.
- Experience with product development processes and understanding of how to solve product challenges across platforms.
- Experience using data analytics and user research to identify design opportunities that solve user and business problems.
- Advanced understanding of usability and user-centered design principles.
- Experience iterating and optimizing designs for existing features using data and user research.
Salary Range: $98600 - $157500 / Salaried
