Job Summary

Responsible for developing and executing product marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue for Walgreens Advertising Group’s suite of solutions. Leads go-to-market efforts, manages cross-functional alignment, and ensures the voice of the customer informs ongoing product evolution. Accountable for identifying growth opportunities, crafting compelling value propositions, and enabling sales and operations teams to achieve strategic objectives. Outcomes have a significant impact on program revenue growth, market competitiveness, and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes comprehensive product marketing plans to support Walgreens Advertising Groups (WAG) objectives across onsite and offsite advertising solutions
  • Defines and articulates the value proposition for WAGs product portfolio leveraging customer insights and market data to inform messaging and positioning
  • Partners with Walgreens Product Management & Vendor Development teams to align go to market strategies with product development ensuring successful launches and sustained adoption
  • Develops training and enablement materials to equip sales and operations teams with the knowledge and tools needed to drive adoption and revenue growth
  • Conducts market research and competitive analysis to inform product enhancements pricing strategies and value messaging
  • Collaborates with executive leadership and cross functional partners to align product marketing activities with corporate growth objectives and customer needs
  • Leads customer engagement initiatives including gathering feedback identifying market gaps and informing product innovation
  • Builds and manages Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure product marketing effectiveness adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results
  • Supports financial planning by aligning product marketing initiatives with budget and revenue targets ensuring program profitability
  • Represents WAG externally with customers partners and at industry events to build brand awareness and strengthen market presence
  • Mentors and develops staff through training and coaching fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment
  • Partners with Legal Privacy and Compliance teams to ensure product marketing materials and campaigns adhere to regulatory and privacy standards
  • Serves as the Walgreens advertising expert for privacy and data governance

The actual salary an employee can expect to receive, plus bonus pursuant to the terms of any bonus plan if applicable, will depend on experience, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law. Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of experience in product marketing, advertising, go-to-market strategy, consumer research, retail media, or a related field or High/School/GED and at least 7 years of experience in product marketing, advertising, go-to-market strategy, consumer research, retail media, or a related field
  • Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, including the executive level
  • Experience developing and executing product marketing strategies aligned with business goals
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders to drive product adoption and revenue growth
  • Experience using insights and data to inform product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market planning
  • At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace
  • At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross- functional team leadership
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)


Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree OR MBA

Salary Range: $115400 - $196200 / Salaried
