Responsible for leading and managing the activities related to monitoring pharmacy related regulatory issues for AllianceRx Walgreens Home Delivery and Specialty Pharmacies. This position is responsible for supervising the Professional Practices Pharmacy Technicians and oversight of their job responsibilities.
This is a hybrid position, it is required to be near one of our locations (Pittsburgh, Canton MI or Frisco TX).
- Lead, oversee, develop, and coach the Professional Practices Technicians and Coordinators
- Coordinate with the Corporate Licensing team to ensure the pharmacy licenses are maintained. Monitor and ensure professional staff licenses with State Boards of Pharmacy/Nursing are maintained in active status and monitor licensure requirements
- Serve as Regulatory consultant to pharmacies in regards to state by state pharmacy regulations and for operational process changes. Ensure operating procedures are compliant with regulatory requirements
- Responsible for overseeing research and response to Pharmacy related complaints/grievances and Board of Pharmacy complaints. Attend/monitor Boards of Pharmacy, Industry meetings, and Regulatory resources to identify any changes impacting pharmacy practices and pharmacy operating procedures
- May be required to perform Pharmacist in Charge responsibilities as needed
- Responsible for the development, oversight and implementation of departmental budget
- Responsible for leading a team through teaching, coaching and inspiring by fostering a sense of energy, ownership and a responsibility for the flawless execution of operational excellence; engage in the selection and hiring process as needed
- Other responsibilities as judgment or necessity dictate

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's or PharmD degree in Pharmacy
- Current pharmacist license without restriction and in good standing with a State Board of Pharmacy. In addition, the ability to obtain additional pharmacist licenses without restriction and in good standing as required including the state in which the pharmacy is located.
- 5 years' work experience as a pharmacist
- 1 year of leadership / people management experience
- Experience analyzing in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and design solutions
- Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing of multiple projects with varying completion dates; ability to develop and deliver presentations to various audience levels
- At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
- At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross- functional team leadership.
- Willing to travel up to 30% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma training and/or certification

Salary Range: $114800 - $183600 / Salaried
