District Manager

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (internal candidates) Bachelor's degree and 5 years of retail management experience or High School Diploma GED and 7 years of retail management experience (external candidates)
• Internal candidates

o At least 3 years of experience as a Walgreen Store Manager or Pharmacy Manager
o OR
o 1 year of experience as a Healthcare Supervisor
o OR
o 3 years combined regional area support Store Manager Pharmacy Manager with 1 year of direct people management experience

• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state or licensed Rph (internal candidates) Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state or licensed Rph as soon as possible given state law requirements, no later than 12 months from District Manager position start date (external candidates)
• Valid drivers license.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to travel 85 percent of the time for business purposes (within district)
• Willing to travel up to/at least 85% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• PTCB or ExCPT Certification.
• Experience as a Tier three or higher Store Manager or transitioned from Store Management to Walgreen corporate leadership position assignment (internal candidates only).
• Experience managing multiple retail or pharmacy units.

Salary Range
$100000 - $145000 / Salaried
